TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 financial institution in Round Rock, TX. This is a fully onsite, contract position based at 115 Louis Henna Boulevard, Round Rock.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm window and occasional Saturdays, offering $21.82 per hour. Responsibilities include handling deposits and loans, cross-selling products, and resolving member inquiries.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry
• Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
• High School Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with the full range of banking products and services, including depository accounts, lending products, and cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.

Branch Location: 115 Louis Henna Boulevard, Round Rock, Texas, 78664, United States (Round Rock Crossing Shopping Center)

Job Description:

• To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards.
• To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly

Experience:

• MUST be available between Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-2:30pm
• Could be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.82 - $21.82/hr.
