Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Technical Solutions Consultant to implement client products across delivery channels and provide high-level escalation support for revenue-focused projects. You will mentor teammates, engage with sales, product, and support, and maintain technical documentation and demonstrations.

The role requires 5–9 years in financial compliance context, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent in related field.

Title: Technical Solutions Consultant

Job Description

The technical solutions consultant is responsible for the implementation of the clients' products via all delivery channels (e.g., XML, Web Services, hosted web application) for clients across all risk verticals as well as providing third-level escalation support to create, sustain, and enhance client-generated revenue. These activities may include providing technical and business process-related consulting services directly to clients, specific support for, and liaison with the following: sales, product, and support teams; other relevant internal staff; and post-production transition support. The technical solutions consultant should demonstrate acumen in the relevant products (including software and hardware as applicable), knowledge of common industry practices, and possesses high proficiency with tools, processes, and methods required to execute duties as described above. The professional services consultant must have a very client-focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively with a high degree of professionalism suited for client contacts within financial and corporate institutions and must have exceptional analytical skills with the ability to influence strategy and direction of the clients procedural processes in operations and compliance when appropriate. The professional services consultant can represent the team in targeted meetings and should also have the skills to mentor less experienced or knowledgeable internal and external team members.

Accountabilities

1. Provides technical integration and consulting services directly to external clients, sales teams, and other support staff for financial services, collections, healthcare, government, law enforcement and insurance verticals for business services products.

2. Share product knowledge, best practices, and technical examples with clients in order to advance implementation completion. Conduct analysis and apply problem-solving skills to determine root cause of issues. Collaborate with, engage and elevate to appropriate resources when necessary to get issues addressed. Own correspondence with Sales and client until issue is resolved.

3. Provides installation, implementation and configuration support, while keeping implementation project plans up to date.

4. Communicates technical terms to internal and external clients of varying levels of technical understanding.

5. Utilizes technical expertise in providing 3rd-level support to clients.

6. Conducts technical presentations and product demonstrations regarding integration with the clients products.

7. Participates in departmental projects that improve the productivity of the team.

8. Completes required training and skill development to support the client base, individual developmental needs, team objectives, department goals, and company initiatives.

9. Maintains a detailed understanding of databases, programming, search technologies, and web technologies.

10. Continues building on best practices for improved client satisfaction, while looking for opportunities and submitting ideas to improve team effectiveness and productivity in working with Sales, clients, and Web Service solutions.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

2. Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

3. Industry Experience: Minimum of 5-9 years, including exposure to Financial Compliance.

4. Client Service Orientation: Uses data quality concepts and tools to resolve issues, valuing client needs as a high priority.

5. Problem Solving & Judgment: Expert analytical skills, capable of understanding complex business problems and developing solutions.

6. Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with risk and compliance products and a hands-on technical problem-solving approach.

7. Presentation Skills & Communication: Advanced ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

8. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to set direction, motivate, and align teams effectively.

9. Teamwork: Strong team collaboration skills, soliciting input and managing conflict effectively.

10. Technical skills: Working knowledge and/or specialized understanding of:

Any experience with Elastic Search is a plus. Strong configuration, troubleshooting and Operating systems experience is a must.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
