Job summary

Levy, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Finance Department support role. The incumbent will handle essential administrative and accounting tasks to uphold the integrity of financial operations and improve team efficiency.

Key duties include daily cash/credit card settlement verification, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies. The role supports venue operations and may involve auditor requests and cross-location inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily verification of cash and credit card settlements
• Prepare journal entries to the general ledger
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items
• Field inquiries from locations
• Support department goals and venue operations
• Assist with auditor requests (bank statements, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• Inform locations about daily discrepancies between bank settlements and sales via the Discrepancy App

Job Summary

Supports the Finance Department by performing critical administrative and accounting functions that uphold the integrity of our financial operations and drive team efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily verification of cash and credit card settlements


• Prepare journal entries to the general ledger


• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations


• Investigate and resolve reconciling items


• Field inquiries from locations


• Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned to support departmental goals and venue operations.


• Help location with Auditor request (Bank statements, Bank Rec’s, etc.)


• Inform locations about daily discrepancies between Bank Settlements and Sales (MSR) via the Discrepancy App (Reconart).
