Job summary

Levy Restaurants seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee the location's financial management and reporting, partnering with leadership to drive performance. The role requires a dynamic Finance/Accounting professional with hands-on experience in operational finance and governance.

Responsibilities include payroll, A/P and A/R, month-end close, and financial analysis. Flexibility for event schedules is needed; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Finance/Accounting role.
• Experience with payroll, AP/AR, month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills and financial analysis ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archives.
• Prepares department reports and month-end close information.
• Ensures compliance with Levy guidelines and training manuals.
• Manages payroll, accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensures payroll data accuracy and timely submission.
• Communicates financial results to management regularly.
• Provides targeted financial analysis as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, you’ll be part of the team responsible for ensuring the accurate management and reporting of the location’s finances – working with the location leadership team to develop action plans to continually drive financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dynamic Finance/Accounting professional. They will understand financial concepts and how these relate to operational procedures and outcomes.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data
• Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing
• Ensures team members adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
• Manages payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable process
• Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis
• Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis
• Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested
• Other duties, as assigned

Skills And Experience

• 3 + years in a Finance/Accounting role
• Ecommerce experience preferred
• High level of Excel literacy
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work non-standard hours as dictated by event schedule
