Job summary

Commerce Bank is offering a Bank Operations Summer Intern role designed to provide hands-on experience across transaction processing, analytics, and project support. The program emphasizes learning through rotation in multiple areas, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and exposure to real-world operational leadership challenges.

The internship runs about 11 weeks starting May 18, 2027, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule, hybrid on-site expectations, and a compensation package at $20.00

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field.
• Junior or Senior standing preferred at the time of the internship.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Interest in Operations Leadership, operational excellence, and business process management.
• Prior work experience, internship experience, campus leadership, or involvement in student organizations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and develop reports, dashboards, and operational insights.
• Support reporting, process improvement, and project initiatives.
• Monitor and communicate KPIs and performance metrics.
• Assist with compliance reviews, user access administration, and system support.
• Research and resolve operational and account-related issues.
• Collaborate across teams to improve processes and operational effectiveness.
• Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
