Job summary

Central Pacific Bank seeks an Assistant Branch Manager for our Oahu locations, with potential assignment in Leeward, Windward or Honolulu areas. This full-time position leads a team and drives sales, service and profitability while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of branch operations and sales leadership, and experience explaining credit products. Flexibility to work before/after hours, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant work experience may substitute for the degree.
• 3+ years of branch/bank operations experience and sales of retail financial products.
• 3+ years of experience supervising/leading a sales team.
• 2+ years of experience explaining credit products; accepting/closing loan apps.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including before/after hours, weekends and holidays; NMLS registration required prior to Mortgage Loan Originator duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team to meet sales, service and profitability goals.
• Manage a portfolio of High Value Clients and build customer relationships.
• Open/serve consumer and business deposit products and loans; assist with home equity loans when applicable.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management for branch operations.
• Train and guide new branch staff and manage daily branch operations.
