Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of banking or financial services experience or equivalent progression within a branch environment
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Represent the Bank in a professional manner with a focus on confidentiality, attendance, and adaptability
• Provide superior internal and external customer service while maintaining courtesy and respect
• Keep management informed of significant issues, problems and complaints
• Supervise Tellers and New Accounts Representatives
• Resolve customer concerns/complaints and maintain communication with customers
• Monitor employee time/schedules and time sheets
• Complete Annual Performance Evaluations for branch staff
• Conduct monthly certifications
• Complete month-end reporting (balancing teller differences, closed accounts, manager's and security reports)
• Conduct weekly/monthly staff meetings
• Perform Teller functions and personal banking tasks (opening accounts, online banking, checks, debit cards, disputes)
• Refer customers and prospects to bank services and explain account types
• Assist Branch Manager to achieve growth objectives
• Participate in projects and information gathering
• May originate consumer loans and adhere to loan compliance standards
• Complete required bank trainings within time frames
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Comply with all policies and regulations
