Now Hiring: Band Saw Operator

A leading food production facility is seeking experienced Band Saw Operators to join its team on 1st and 2nd shifts . Responsibilities include operating band saw equipment, maintaining production standards, and following all safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced environment. Pay ranges from $23.00-$23.45 per hour , based on experience. Previous food processing experience is preferred , along with experience operating industrial cutting equipment in a manufacturing or production setting.

Job Description

This role focuses on safely and efficiently cutting meat products using a bandsaw in a fast-paced production facility. You will help fulfill customer orders by following established cutting specifications, while strictly adhering to company policies, government regulations, and sanitation standards. The position requires close attention to health, safety, and food safety practices, as well as active participation in a team-oriented environment and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and procedures related to the operation of the meat production facility.
• Safely operate a bandsaw to cut meat products according to established specifications in a fast-paced production environment.
• Efficiently execute meat-cutting requirements to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Follow all applicable government regulations and internal policies and procedures regarding cleaning and sanitation.
• Adhere to health, safety, and food safety practices to maintain operational efficiency and a safe workplace.
• Foster a team-oriented work environment by supporting and collaborating with fellow team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the meat production facility to enhance processes and productivity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by production leadership, within the scope of the role and individual capabilities.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience operating a bandsaw or similar cutting equipment in a production environment.
• Practical experience with saw operation and general production processes.
• Ability to perform meat cutting tasks with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of regular job duties.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.45/hr.
