Job Title: Sanitation Associate

Job Description

This full-time, temp-to-hire Sanitation Associate role in a food manufacturing environment focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe production facility while supporting ongoing production operations. You help ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and quality standards by thoroughly cleaning equipment and work areas, accurately documenting sanitation activities, and preparing the production environment for efficient and safe operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, sanitation, janitorial work, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning is preferred.

• Familiarity with food manufacturing environments and production processes is an advantage.

• Experience working with inventory, warehouse, or production operations is beneficial.

• Understanding of GMP and HACCP principles in a food production setting is a plus.

Work Environment

You work in a food manufacturing facility with a fast-paced production environment that requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The role involves regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and sanitation products, as well as working in wet conditions and cold production and storage areas with temperatures between 33°F and 39°F. You follow established safety and food safety procedures while using appropriate equipment and protective gear to perform sanitation tasks throughout your assigned shift, which may be on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) or 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ephrata, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
