Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Band Weld Operator (2nd shift) in East Longmeadow, MA. The role runs Monday–Friday, 3:15 pm–11:45 pm, with a base rate of $21.00 per hour plus a 9% shift differential to $22.89 per hour and a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

The team welds and processes various band saw blades, performing setup, welding, grinding, annealing, and routine maintenance while complying with safety rules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• 1-2 years experience preferred.
• Use of numbers including decimals.
• Light physical effort required (5–25 pounds).
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate and maintain equipment to band cutter and welders; grind and anneal blades of various materials.
• Adjust welding clamps for blade width and tooth spacing; set time and temperature; clamp ends and cycle welds.
• Transfer welded blades to grinder and check weld alignment and tooth spacing.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance; document maintenance in log.
