Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a Band Weld Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:15 pm–11:45 pm). Base pay is $21.00/hr with a 9% shift differential totaling $22.89/hr, plus a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating band weld lines, inspecting welds, and performing routine maintenance. Candidates should have 1–2 years of relevant experience and HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• Ability to work with numbers including decimals.
• Light physical effort; lifting 5–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain band saw welders and grinders to produce blades.
• Adjust clamps for blade width and tooth spacing; control cycle timings.
• Inspect welds; perform annealing and grinding to shape blades.
• Maintain equipment and complete required documentation.
• Follow safety rules and wear protective gear.
