Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC seeks a Music Instrumental Graduate Assistant for Fall and Spring semesters to support the band program. The role includes library management, rehearsal support, and collaboration with conductors and instructors.

The selected candidate will assist with the Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, and special events such as the Band Clinic and Commencement performances, and may proctor auditions and tours as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and manage the Band Library
• Attend and assist with conducting and music education courses
• Attend and assist with rehearsals of Symphonic band and Wind Symphony
• Assist with Winthrop Invitational Band Clinic
• Assist with Pep Band (basketball) as requested
• Assist with Commencement Band performances at all Commencements
• Proctor ensemble auditions at the start of fall and spring semesters
• Assist with Band Tour (biennial)
• Other duties as assigned (subject to passing entrance audition)
