Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel OR Operating Room nurse for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. This position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts in a travel capacity.

The right candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, and possibly RN First Assistant, with BLS on every assignment. As an OR Travel Nurse, you will assist physicians and staff, provide pre- and post-surgery care and education, and support the operating team and families

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in the United States.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating/scrub RN.
• BLS certification required; RNFA may be preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Baltimore, MD for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and patient education.
• Position, prepare instruments, monitor patient during surgery.
• Maintain communication with family and operating team.
