TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Towson, MD. The role covers circulating and scrub nursing duties with potential RN first assistant responsibilities. Expect 40 hours/week, 8-hour days, travel-friendly benefits, and immediate start.

Requirements include BLS and 1–2 years acute care experience. The position involves perioperative patient care, education, and collaboration with surgical teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• From 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery education to patients.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications with the team.
• Prepare instruments and equipment as needed for procedures.
