Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 14-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role involves perioperative patient care, room setup, instrument handling, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The candidate will have at least 1 year of OR RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Additional certifications (ACLS/PALS/CNOR) are preferred. Travel benefits and recruiters support are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery with focus on safety and comfort.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team and provides instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes for the surgeon.
