Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel RN for the Operating Room (OR) in Baltimore, Maryland. This 14-week travel assignment runs Monday through Friday with 2x12 hour days and 2x8 hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, and includes a tax-free stipend and housing considerations.

The RN will provide one-on-one perioperative care across specialties, support a high-volume surgical team, and ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols.

Qualifications

• Two years of Operating Room experience required.
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I preferred.
• MD or Compact RN license required on submission.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, NIH, and PALS preferred.
• Maryland-approved trauma course (16h) and 8 hours annual trauma CEUs required.
• General OR and trauma experience with proficiency in various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care in the operating room.
• Assist in surgical procedures across trauma, ENT, colorectal, plastics, neurosurgery, and other specialties.
• Contribute to a high-volume surgical team with ~40 cases per day.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and patient protocols.
• Serve as a resource for patients and families regarding care procedures and surgical tech.
