Job summary

Cleveland Guardians in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Facilities Security team member for a part-time year-round role at Progressive Field. The position supports a 24-40 hour work week across three shifts (day, evening, overnight) to ensure 24-hour coverage.

You will screen visitors, monitor security systems, conduct rounds, and maintain logs while delivering professional service to teammates, guests, and vendors. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliability, responsibility, and motivation toward duties.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide strong customer service.
• Ability to perform under pressure and in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to visitors in a professional and timely manner.
• Interface with the Public, Contractors, Teammates, and Security Partners.
• Communicate via telephone, radio, email, and in person.
• Learn and apply Progressive Field security policies and procedures.
• Conduct security screenings and bag inspections for staff, visitors, contractors, and others.
• Perform security rounds and facility checks across ballpark areas.
• Maintain logs, monitor contractor activities, and manage incident reporting.
• Operate security systems and respond to emergencies per policy.
