Job summary

Capitol Broadcasting Company seeks a friendly Seating Bowl Host at Durham Bulls Athletic Park to welcome guests and guide them to seats. The role emphasizes safety, crowd control, and positive fan engagement during home games and events.

You will assist guests with seating, respond to questions, and help create an energetic park atmosphere while maintaining clean seating areas and supporting evacuation procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, positive, friendly, and helpful approach to guest service.
• Ability to remain professional and composed while working with large crowds.
• Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and usher guests within an assigned seating section.
• Help guests locate their seats and provide directions throughout the ballpark.
• Wipe down seats and help keep the assigned section clean and presentable.
• Build positive relationships with guests and respond to questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Encourage section participation and cheering during games.
• Assist with in-stand promotions and other fan engagement activities.
• Communicate guest concerns, safety issues, or unusual situations to a supervisor.
• Assist in evacuations or emergency situations by following established safety procedures.
• Assist fans with special needs, including wheelchair accessibility and other accommodations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
