Job summary

The City Of Goodyear in Goodyear, AZ, seeks a facilities operations professional to oversee ballpark operations and events. You will supervise staff, coordinate vendor services, manage budgets, and develop reports to optimize use and safety across the campus.

Responsibilities include scheduling events, ensuring contract compliance, and leading improvements to reduce costs while enhancing guest experiences. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a related field are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Three years of experience in a similar role or related field.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read municipal contracts, COACs, annual reports and budget documents.
• Ability to perform basic math and analytical writing.
• Semi-complex managerial responsibilities including supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees general facility maintenance and procurement; coordinates with vendors and contractors.
• Manages spring training and event operations, recruiting and scheduling staff and volunteers.
• Forecasts and monitors program budgets and expenditures.
• Plans and coordinates campus-wide events and facility use with multiple departments and partners.
• Develops reports, evaluates event impact, and recommends improvements.
• Ensures contracts, security, concessions and maintenance meet requirements.
