Job summary

WM T Burnett Foam LLC is seeking a Baler Operator to operate and maintain an automatic baling machine for scrap foam materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure materials are baled, recorded, and prepared for shipment while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include feeding foam into baler/shredder, weighing and recording bale weights, loading baled foam for shipment, keeping the baler area clean, and notifying maintenance of any issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the baler and related equipment according to safety and operational procedures.
• Follow all safety rules and company practices, including use of required PPE.
• Feed scrap foam into the shredder and baler machines.
• Accurately weigh foam bales and record bale weights.
• Load baled scrap foam into trailers or trucks for shipment.
• Retrieve scrap foam from production areas as directed.
• Handle returned goods and process appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baler area.
• Clean the baler regularly and notify maintenance of any issues or malfunctions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
