Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a Baler Operator for the 2nd shift to bale scrap foam and prepare bales for shipment. The role requires tying off bales and packing for transport, with overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate will operate the baler, maintain accurate logs, and follow safety and housekeeping practices in a production environment. High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Able to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Push empty scrap buggies from the baling area to the plant areas where used.
• Exchange with full buggies of scrap foam and return full buggies to baling area.
• Load scrap foam into the baler and operate controls.
• Tie off completed bale and move to scales for weighing and tagging.
• Move completed bale to storage and repeat throughout shift.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
