Job summary

Baku in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly and professional server to provide attentive food and beverage service. You will take and input orders, relay details to the kitchen, and deliver meals to guests with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, explaining specials, maintaining clean station standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal service while adhering to liquor policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and/or beverage service including taking orders, delivering items, and clearing tables.
• Check station before, during, and after shift for cleanliness and proper setup.
• Greet guests warmly and explain specials and promotions.
• Take orders and input them into the Point of Sale system to inform the kitchen of details.
• Retrieve orders from the kitchen, verify accuracy, and deliver to guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address needs.
• Comply with all state, federal regulations and liquor policies regarding alcohol service.

Job description

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
