Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience and/or training as a machine operator preferred.
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation instructions and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP rules and SOPs.
• Understand operation of assigned production equipment.
• Report food safety and quality problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Perform set-up, start-up, and shutdown procedures.
• Complete computerized and paper documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate with coworkers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
