Job summary

Dewey’s Bakery, Inc. is seeking a Wirecut Operator to join our Winston-Salem manufacturing team on the 3rd shift. This role crosses train with the Packaging Machine Operator and involves operating sheeter, wire-cut, topper, guillotine, enrober, cooling tunnel and conveyors to keep production moving.

You will perform setup, start-up, and shutdown procedures, document outcomes, and uphold GMP, safety and quality standards while collaborating with co-workers and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 1 year related experience as a machine operator.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation instructions.
• Basic math skills for measurements and units.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment per SOPs and train on related machines.
• Adjust equipment to meet quality specifications.
• Perform setup, start-up, and shutdown procedures.
• Complete computerized and paper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
