Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is hiring a Utility Operator for the Alsip, IL Bakery. You will support multiple production and packaging areas, ensuring safe, compliant, and continuous manufacturing operations.

Shift is 1st, 5:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with weekend availability required. You will operate equipment, uphold food safety standards, and document production activities while collaborating with maintenance and leadership to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of manufacturing, production, or related experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety requirements.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across production and packaging areas to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Operate production and packaging equipment in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, allergen management and food defense requirements.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to promote safe, efficient operations.
• Complete production, waste, and operational documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to address equipment and operational concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all PPE and safety requirements.
