Job summary

Whole Foods Market in San Diego seeks a Bakery Team Member to receive, prepare, display, and sell bakery products while upholding WFM standards. You will stock, rotate, and maintain clean displays; assist with sampling and inventories; and provide friendly service to customers and team members.

Essential duties include following safety procedures, maintaining product quality, and supporting store programs. Must be flexible to work a fast-paced environment and different shifts.

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service skills.
• Ability to learn product knowledge in the bakery department.
• Ability to maintain clean, appealing displays and stock levels.
• Willingness to follow SOPs and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Keep bakery cases and shelves clean, stocked, and front-facing.
• Assist with sample program and inventory checks.
• Provide courteous, efficient service and answer customer questions.
• Support opening/mid/closing duties and price accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and help with team tasks as needed.
