Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members to support the Bakery department on a fast-paced retail floor. You will help receive and prepare products, maintain displays, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, monitoring freshness, and assisting with inventory and sampling programs. The role requires a flexible schedule, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
