Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a bakery associate role. You will proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, stock displays, and maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have bakery or customer service experience, understand product handling, and are at least 18 years old. The job offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow with the club.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Answers Member calls and takes special orders.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following item handling information using ovens and equipment.
• Uses bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs.
• Packages freshly baked goods, including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on production charts.
• Rotates and stores products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies.
