Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a bakery team member in the United States. You will proof and bake unfinished goods, unpack from the freezer, and display items according to production charts while upholding safety standards.

You will assist members, maintain cleanliness, rotate stock, and help ensure a high-quality product. Must be at least 18 years old with bakery or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or customer service environment.
• Knowledge of bakery products.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items. Answers Member calls and takes special orders.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following production charts and uses baking equipment.
• Packages freshly baked goods and displays products according to chart recommendations.
• Decorates special orders or case products.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following safety policies and procedures.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments and maintains quality standards.
• Generates labels and price tickets and ensures items are priced correctly.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and surfaces in the bakery area.
• Operates bakery equipment safely and follows safety policies.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
