Job summary

SpartanNash, located in Holland, MI, is seeking a Bakery Associate to prepare and produce bakery items, stock shelves, and ensure guest experience aligns with company guidelines.

You’ll work with store teams to merchandise products, follow safety and cleaning protocols, and support growth in our SpartanNash Retail stores. High school diploma preferred; one year retail experience recommended.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Bakery Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Bakery Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Bakery Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Notify the Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work as a team with other departments and Stores to achieve growth.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
