Job summary

The GIANT Company in Bethlehem, PA is looking for a Store Associate to support bakery operations. You will review the shift schedule, prepare supplies, bake goods, package, label, and ensure clean display cases for customers.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow PPE and safety rules. A 60-day introductory period applies; some experience is preferred, and legal work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively to perform duties and follow policies.
• Must complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements; able to use required equipment.
• Must perform all duties safely and meet attendance standards.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at shift start and prepare PPE and supplies.
• Assemble ingredients, mix, bake and place goods on trays and racks.
• Package, label baked goods, clean display cases and stock cases with fresh items.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
