Job summary

The GIANT Company in Bellefonte, PA is seeking a store associate to assist with bakery operations, shift prep, packaging, and maintaining safety standards. You will help assemble, bake, label, and display goods, while ensuring clean work areas and adherence to PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties and follow safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare PPE and supplies.
• Assemble and bake goods, place trays in racks, and bake.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels, label items, clean display cases, and stock fresh goods.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
