Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a store team member at the King of Prussia location to support bakery operations and customer service. You will review the shift schedule, prepare ingredients, bake goods, and keep display cases stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include packaging and labeling baked goods, maintaining product freshness, and adhering to PPE and safety standards. Prior experience is preferred; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work 4+ hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare the required equipment and supplies.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place mix on trays, bake goods in the oven.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels, label products, and maintain display cases.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
