Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Seattle is seeking a friendly, energetic Bakery Team Member to stock shelves, receive deliveries, prep products, and help customers while upholding WFM standards.

You will handle front-facing displays, maintain cleanliness, follow health and safety rules, and participate in training. Prior retail experience is not required; we value reliability, teamwork, and a passion for natural foods.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively and deliver friendly customer service.
• Basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually inspect product quality and freshness.
• Ability to read labels and familiarize with products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, and rotating products.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to team leaders.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program and inventory checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary working and shopping environment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties, with accurate pricing signs.
