Whole Foods Market is seeking team members to support the Bakery area by receiving, prepping, stocking, and displaying products while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and teammates. The role emphasizes adhering to SOPs, participating in sample programs, and maintaining clean, safe spaces in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate signage, assisting with inventory, and supporting store programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked with front-facing products.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintains back stock and displays; assists with sampling programs.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Provides courteous, friendly service and answers phones promptly.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
