Whole Foods Market is seeking a Customer Service oriented team member for the Bakery department. You will support receiving and preparing products, maintain displays, stock shelves, and assist customers with friendly, efficient service.

Roles include breaking down deliveries, ensuring product freshness, and adhering to health and safety standards while promoting store programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively and meet customer service expectations.
• Learn basic knowledge of all bakery products carried in the department.
• Visually inspect products for quality and freshness.
• Read labels and stay informed about product details.
• Support periodic inventory checks and rotate stock.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh and appealing bakery displays, front-face shelves, and rotate products.
• Stock shelves, bins, and display areas; monitor spoilage and communicate waste.
• Ensure back stock organization and assist with sampling programs.
• Be punctual, groomed, and prepared for scheduled shifts and trainings.
• Deliver excellent customer service and suggestive selling to customers.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures and maintain clean workspace.
• Assist with opening, mid, and closing duties and price accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and perform other duties as assigned.
