Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist in producing dough, manage inventory, and provide friendly service to customers. You will mix and measure ingredients, monitor temperatures, and help maintain cleanliness and accurate records for orders.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic kitchen skills, and bilingual English/Spanish ability. The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Mix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipes and shape dough into rolls, pies, and other bakery items.
• Cut, peel and prepare fruit for fillings and icing.
• Train assistants and maintain bakery cleanliness.
• Maintain records of customer orders.
• Provide quality customer service and take cake orders.
• Ensure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintained.
• Rotate merchandise per labels and maintain department plan-o-grams.
