Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Bakery Clerk to mix, measure, and shape dough for a variety of bakery items and to provide exceptional customer service in the bakery department.

You will assist with fruit preparation, cake orders, and inventory, while maintaining cleanliness and proper food handling procedures. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic kitchen skills, familiar with bakery food preparation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Mix and measure ingredients to form dough for bakery products.
• Cut, peel and prepare fruit for fillings and icing.
• Train assistants and maintain bakery cleanliness.
• Maintain records of customer orders.
• Provide quality customer service and take cake orders.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored separately.
• Ensure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintained.
• Rotate merchandise according to labels and department schematics.
