Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to mix, measure, and bake dough, assemble pastries, and ensure quality throughout the baking process. You will follow production schedules, monitor temperatures, and provide excellent service to customers, taking special cake orders when needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with inventory, stocking shelves, rotating products, and maintaining a clean, organized bakery area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation in a bakery department.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Mix and measure ingredients to form dough and bake bakery products.
• Cut, peel, and prepare fruit for fillings and icing.
• Train assistants and maintain bakery cleanliness.
• Maintain records of customer orders and rotation of merchandise.
• Provide quality customer service and take cake orders.
• Ensure temperatures in cooler/freezer are correct.
• Rotate merchandise according to labels and plan-o-grams.
