Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Machine Operator-Scaler I to support daily production at Wenona, IL. The role stages ingredients, weighs items, and operates baking equipment according to the schedule.

This full-time position offers health/dental/vision, disability and paid holidays, plus a wage of $23.65 per hour with a second-shift differential. You will join a team committed to safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP programs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate inputs and weigh ingredients.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with/without assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 90% of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Weigh dry and liquid ingredients into containers.
• Record weights, ingredients, lot numbers, and data on the mixer log.
• Operate mixers, ovens, and other baking equipment.
• Complete and file quality assurance and production records.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
