Job summary

Europastry USA is hiring a Sanitor I to maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe environment in a high-volume bakery production facility. The role covers cleaning and sanitizing equipment and production areas to meet strict hygiene standards and regulations.

The 2nd shift runs from 3 PM to 11 PM with weekend availability required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and up to 1 year of related experience. Opportunities for growth, competitive pay, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; up to 1 year of related experience.
• Language Skills: Basic reading and writing.
• Math Skills: Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret graphs.
• Reasoning Ability: Follow detailed instructions with common sense.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment (mixers, conveyors, ovens, etc.) and facility areas (floors, restrooms, lobbies).
• Handle waste disposal and recycling.
• Maintain supply levels (bathroom, PPE).
• Operate sanitation equipment (floor scrubber, power washer, steam cleaner).
• Participate in meetings and report issues to supervisors.
• Support food safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
