Job summary

Café Valley Bakery is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support Plant Operations and provide excellent service to associates and visitors. The role cleans production areas, offices, and equipment according to the Master Cleaning schedule, with weekend work and flexible hours as needed, in a food production setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety and color-code chemical procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as business needs demand.
• Ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 12 hours with breaks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs consistently per departmental needs.
• Wear and utilize personal protective equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Able to work with/around food allergens and in a team environment.
• Maintain consistent attendance and follow Master Cleaning Schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean environment in assigned areas by dumping trash and by-product waste.
• Service hand wash stations and replenish supplies as needed.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms using chemicals per color-code procedures.
• Perform dry-cleaning and wet-cleaning procedures as needed.
• Clean and sanitize conveyors, production equipment, and assembly areas.
• Operate floor scrubber and scissor lift as required.
• Complete cleaning work orders in a timely manner and participate in weekly inspections.
