Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a kitchen prep/line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare menu items, maintain cleanliness, and assist with stocking and portion control to ensure food safety and quality.

This role supports the Kitchen Manager and aims to deliver excellent guest experiences. Qualifications are straightforward with training provided; previous restaurant experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in house training.
• Experience in food service is not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cooking items according to recipes and procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas, and storage areas.
• Assists with stocking, rotation, and portioning to ensure food safety and quality.
• Works with the Kitchen Manager to control food cost and portion sizes.
• Contributes to guest satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and friendly service.
