Job summary

Harvest Moon Baking Company in Colorado is seeking a QA Technician to support the Quality Assurance Manager in implementing SQF, GMP, and food safety programs across the bakery. You will conduct routine inspections, monitor critical control points, supervise sanitation teams, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, GMP knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a third-party audited food facility.
• Supervisory experience in sanitation or production.
• Knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Must be flexible to work early mornings, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Daily quality and safety monitoring during each shift.
• Perform hygiene inspections to ensure GMP compliance.
• Supervise sanitation teams AM and PM.
• Verify materials and product specifications at checkpoints.
• Audit incoming raw materials and labeling accuracy.
• Assist CAPA investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide team training on GMPs and production practices.
