Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Co. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a bakery production worker to operate high-speed equipment in processing and packaging to produce Milk-Bone products.

Shifts run afternoons and evenings with weekly rotation, and some weekend work is required. Qualifications

• 3+ years related manufacturing experience or equivalent vocational experience preferred.
• Selected individuals must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work well in a team.
• Use of computers and PLCs in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Afternoons and evenings shifts with rotating weekly schedule; weekend work may be required.
• Follow all Safety Rules and GMPs.
• Operate high-speed manufacturing production equipment for processing and packaging.
• Cross-train across processing and packaging areas; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Work as part of a team and assist fellow employees as needed.
