Job summary

The J. M. Smucker Co. is seeking a team member to operate high-speed bakery equipment in a milk-bone production area. You will work afternoon/evening shifts, with weekly rotation, and contribute to safe, efficient output on multiple lines.

Candidates need 3+ years in manufacturing, strong teamwork, and basic PLC/computer skills. The role requires physical stamina, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to GMPs and safety rules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related manufacturing experience or equivalent technical/vocational experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly motivated and responsible.
• Use of computers and PLCs in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in afternoons and evenings; shifts can alternate weekly.
• Attend assigned shifts and weekend work as required.
• Follow Safety Rules and GMPs; produce high quality products safely.
• Operate and be in proximity to machinery; cross-training across high-speed manufacturing.
• Collaborate as part of a team and assist fellow employees as needed.
