Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Production Supervisor for a large bakery operation in an on-site role. You will lead a team of 15–25 employees across first, second, and third shifts to meet production goals and maintain safety and quality standards.

This hands-on leadership position offers growth opportunities within an established supervisory team, with a base salary in the mid- to high- $80k range plus a 5% bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead employees, manage performance, and drive accountability.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
