Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Apply glazes, icings, or toppings to baked goods using spatulas or brushes.
• Decorate cakes and bakery items per recipes and customer requests.
• Measure and weigh ingredients to prepare batters and doughs using scales.
• Combine ingredients in mixing/blending equipment.
• Roll, knead, and shape dough for rolls, pies, tarts, cookies, and other items.
• Place dough in pans and bake in production ovens or on grills.
• Set oven temperatures and monitor baking times.
• Observe product color and adjust temperatures, humidity, and times as needed.
• Order products and check material quality to meet standards.
• Maintain inventory of finished goods.
• Check equipment for health and safety compliance and perform cleaning.
• Complete specials projects and other duties as assigned.
