Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct shift production, ensure product safety and quality, and lead a team of production technicians. You will monitor procedures, manage time and materials, and uphold standards across the line in a fast-paced bakery environment.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, cross‑functional coordination, and adherence to company policies while supporting continuous improvement and a strong, collaborative culture within the plant.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.
• Completion of High School diploma or equivalence and recognized training programs.
• Formal management skills training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs shift production, assigns tasks, and monitors procedures to meet quality and safety standards.
• Reviews records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials; inspects product quality.
• Ensures equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promotes positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication.
• Ensures a safe working environment through safety policy enforcement and meetings.
• Plans and adjusts work assignments to cover all production phases.
• Operates facility metal detector(s) with trained certification.
• Maintains cleanliness and compliance with company policies.
• Performs other duties as needed.
