Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a production associate to assist supervisors in shift production. The role requires demonstrating competency in on-the-job activities affecting product safety, legality and quality.

This position offers a competitive salary of $31.44/hr and total rewards. Responsibilities include training staff in equipment care and safe operation, inspecting records and products for quality, keeping equipment ready, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train production staff in equipment care and safe operation.
• Review records to ensure efficient use of time and materials; inspect products for quality.
• Ensure equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promote interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
• Operate facility metal detectors when required, fully trained and certified.
• Maintain a safe working environment per safety policies and conduct inspections.
• Plan and adjust work assignments to cover all production phases.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Adhere to company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.).
• Complete the AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
